To preserve the outer appearance of the canisters, please do not place them in the dishwasher. Cleaning should not be needed very often (if at all) but if you do wish to do so, please hand wash with dish soap and warm water.
Please visit our warranty page for instructions on how to register your grinder.
Squeeze both sides at the buttons (indicated on the sides of the tin) and slide the cover back.
Yes – the canister is very much at home in the fridge! If you are using it to store Cannabis flower, refrigeration is not usually the best storage approach. The main goal in preserving the freshness of Cannabis flower (apart from an inert, light-tight and air-tight container) is keeping it at the right relative humidity (in and and around 62%) which is usually better maintained at room temperature. For butter, the fridge is perfect. For edibles, the answer depends on the type (e.g. gummies vs. baked goods).
If your grinder card becomes overly sticky with cannabis residue, isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol is very effective for cleaning. Dip an old toothbrush or hard sponge in alcohol and scrub-off the residue, rinse with water, pat dry with a paper towel or allow it to air dry. It should be good as new.
You can store your cannabis in the bags as long as you need to. To keep cannabis flower in optimal condition longer term, maintaining the correct relative humidity is key. We recommend using a humidity pack designed for cannabis (usually in the 62% RH range) to help keep it fresh inside.
Iivy bags are multi-layered mylar with a total thickness of 130 micron (5 mil). We found this combination to be a perfect balance between protection and physical flexibility.
